Jaap Stam will leave Milan and return to his native Holland, according to his agent.
The Dutch defender is contract to Milan until 2007, although according to reports in Italy, he may quit the club next summer.
“Jaap is under contract with the Rossoneri until 2007 but he wants to return to his native land in order to dedicate himself to his family,” says his agent Henk van Ginkel.
“Two teams have already said they are interested in him. We will speak to Milan and see what happens.”
