Schalke v Inter Milan: Ross Casey has a 9/1 tip for tonight’s Champions League quarter-final 2nd leg…

St Pauli coach Holger Stanislawski is to leave the club at the end of the season.

The 41-year-old, who has been at St Pauli as player and coach for 18 years, is one of the favourites to take over at Hoffenheim, who announced on Tuesday that they will be parting company with coach Marco Pezzaiuoli at the end of the season.

“A warm, proper, melancholic thank you, our dear Stani, you’ll never walk alone,” the relegation-threatened club said in a brief statement. “At the moment it is difficult to express what we feel.”

Hamburg-born Stanislawski played for St Pauli for 11 years before taking over as coach in 2006 and guiding them into the top flight in 2010. They are currently second from bottom of the Bundesliga with just 28 points from 29 games.
