Fulham are poised to complete the signing of Swedish full-back Fredrik Stoor.
The Rosenborg defender has been in talks with Premiership outfit for a number of weeks and now a deal appears close to completion.
“We are expecting that it will be settled,” Rosenborg’s director of football Erik Hoftun told Adresseavisen.
“It’s closer than it has ever been.
“Since it has taken a long time, it’s best for both the club and the player that the transfer is completed.”
The arrival of Stoor at Craven Cottage may signal the departure of Moritz Volz, with reports in Spain claiming Racing Santander have been offered the chance to sign Volz.
“The financial conditions are interesting and we intend to give our answer in the coming days,” said a Racing spokesman.
