Chelsea have revealed that Henk ten Cate has joined the club as assistant coach to Avram Grant.
The club confirmed on Wednesday that they had agreed a deal with Ajax for the release of Ten Cate.
A club statement read: “Chelsea Football Club can confirm that Henk Ten Cate has joined as assistant first team coach and we would like to welcome him to the club.”
Ten Cate was assistant manager to Frank Rijkaard at Barcelona when they won the UEFA Champions League before joining Ajax.
