Fabio Capello’s England continue on the road to South Africa when they host Kazakhstan in a crucial World Cup qualifier this Saturday.

England captain John Terry is a major doubt for Saturday’s World Cup qualifier with Kazakhstan because of a recurring back injury.

The 27-year-old Chelsea defender did not train on Thursday after failing to complete Wednesday’s session.

Terry suffered a recurrence of his back injury in Chelsea’s Champions League tie against CFR Cluj last week and required more treatment in the Premier League match against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Reports indicate that 27-year-old will struggle to be fit for the game with Kazakhstan and is a doubt for Wednesday’s match against Belarus in Minsk.
