Hamburg have sacked manager Klaus Toppmoller following their 2-0 home defeat by Arminia Bielefeld.
Toppmoller is expected to be replaced by former Germany international Thomas Doll it has been revealed.
Hamburg lie bottom of Die Bundesliga with just two wins from their opening eight games and Saturday”s defeat to Arminia was their fourth from the last five matches.
The former Bayer Leverkusen coach leaves the club after just 33 games in charge.
