Fernando Torres’ agent has admitted a number of top clubs have enquired about the about the availability of the Liverpool striker, but insists he is happy at Anfield.

Reports suggest Liverpool are preparing to offer the Spanish international a lucrative new deal in a bid to fend off potential suitors.

Torres’ agent, Jose Antonio Martini, admits the striker is attracting interest but states that his client is committed to Liverpool.

“Big European clubs are always asking about Torres, but he loves it at Liverpool and is keen to get fit to fight for the title and Champions League,” Martini is quoted as saying in the Daily Star.
