Tottenham Hotspur’s Slovenia midfielder Milenko Acimovic is close to finialising a six-month loan deal with French first division club Lille.
“Negotiations are tough but Acimovic really wants to move to Lille to break the deadlock he is in at Tottenham,” said a statement on Lille’s website.
Acimovic, who has 37 caps for his country, joined the north London club from Red Star Belgrade in 2002 but has not started in the League this season.
