Tottenham Hotspur have signed Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly from Dutch club Feyenoord.

The 24-year-old, who joined Feyenoord from Egyptian side Al-Ahly, has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract.

Spurs’ sporting director Damien Comolli told the club’s website: “I have watched Hossam since he was 17.

“He is a versatile, very physical and technically gifted midfielder who will offer us a number of playing options. He’s a terrific addition to the squad.”
