Tottenham’s have signed Real Zaragoza goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez as understudy to new first choice keeper Heurelho Gomes.
The 36-year-old Sanchez, who earned a Spanish cap earlier in his career, arrives in London on a year-long loan.
Aside from Sanchez and Gomes Spurs have also recruited David Bentley for an initial £15 million from Blackburn, Croatian playmaker Luka Modric and Mexican youngster Giovani dos Santos.
