Roma playmaker Francesco Totti is excited at the prospect of playing again after a long absence through injury.

The Italian international broke his ankle in February, throwing his World Cup participation into jeopardy, but Totti should be back for Roma’s game with Treviso on Sunday.

“I want to play, I’m looking forward to this,” Totti told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“When? That is not up to me.

“I will talk with coach Spalletti and we will evaluate whether against Treviso I should start or be a substitute.”

The 29-year-old is expected to only be on the bench at the weekend.

“How I feel? Let’s say between 40 and 50 percent of my best condition,” he added.
