Italy forward Francesco Totti will miss Saturday’s friendly against Holland in Amsterdam after failing to recover from a pulled muscle in his right leg.
Totti, who picked up the injury in Roma’s Serie A win over Messina last Sunday, is also expected to keep him out of Italy’s friendly against the Ivory Coast on November 16.
In Totti’s absence Alessandro Del Piero is expected to be given the opportunity to partner Alberto Gilardino and Luca Toni in a three-man attack.
