Barcelona have confirmed that midfielder Yaya Toure is not for sale.
The defensive midfielder is reportedly a target of Arsenal as the Gunners look to bolster their midfield options.
“Yaya Toure will not be leaving,” a Barca spokesman told skysports.com.
“He is an important player for the team and it does not enter our plans to sell him.”
New Barca coach Pep Guardiola is also adamant that the 25-year-old features in his long-term plans.
“Yaya is a key man in my scheme,” added Guardiola.
