Italy coach Giovanni Trapattoni has included seven uncapped players in his squad to face Turkey in this week’s friendly international.

Among the uncapped players are Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini and Empoli striker Antonio Di Natale have been called-up or Wednesday’s friendly.

Other players earning their first call-up include, Chievo trio, Nicola Legrottaglie and midfielders Simone Perrotta and Eugenio Corini, Bologna winger Carlo Nervo and Juventus defender Alessandro Birindelli.

The under-pressure Italy coach’s plans have been hit by a series of withdrawals through injury of several regulars. Defenders Alessandro Nesta and Marco Materazzi, midfielders Gennaro Gattuso and Damiano Tommasi as wellas strikers Marco Delvecchio and Francesco Totti are all ruled out.
