David Trezeguet is set to stay at Juventus after the club turned down offers from abroad for his services.

The French striker’s future had been in doubt after falling out of favour with the Italian club, scoring just eight goals in two seasons for the club.

But according to the player’s agent, new coach Luigi Del Neri has insisted that Trezeguet stays, stating that Juve rejected offers from Turkey and the USA for the player.

“Trezeguet is part of Del Neri’s plans, and one offer from the USA and two from Turkey have been rejected,” Trezeguet’s agent Antonio Caliendo told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“One was from Fenerbahce, and the other was a mega-galactic offer from Trabzonspor. In any case he has a contract with Juventus and he intends to respect that.”
