David Beckham has again played down suggestions that he is lining up a move to America’s MLS.
The former England skipper returned to the fray for Real Madrid at the weekend, coming on at half time and helping them come from behind to earn a 2-1 win over Athletic Bilbao.
With Beckham yet to sign a new contract with Real, there remains speculation about the 31-year-old’s future.
“The world’s press are always talking, but I am happy at Real Madrid and I am not thinking about me going to the United States,” he said.
“I am very happy to be back playing, for the win and because I have felt comfortable in the centre of the pitch,” Beckham said after the match.
