Valencia duo David Silva and Ruben Baraja have signed new deals which will keep them at the club.

Silva has signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at La Mestalla until 2013.

“I’m very happy to be here and to be able to continue at the club for years to come,” Silva told the club’s official website.

“I’ve been here since I was a child and regard it as home after so many years.”

Midfielder Baraja has also signed a two-year extension to keep him at the club until 2010.

Baraja, who missed most of last season through injury, is pleased to be staying.

“I’m looking to the future, having been unable to play much this season,” said Baraja.

“I hope that in the next three seasons I can repay the club’s faith in me.”
