Juan Carlos Valeron has agreed a contract extension with Deportivo La Coruna which will keepat th club until 2010.
The Spanish international will now be under contract at the Riazor until the age of 35.
Valeron hinted he would finish his career with Depor.
“The whole family were talking, and the fact that we felt good, happy and at ease both in the club and the city was very important,” he said.
“We are very happy with everything we have experienced here.”
Meanwhile, Depor president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro paid tribute to the player.
‘It’s difficult to find a situation like the one we have with him, because Valeron is one of those people who leaves an impression as a player, professional and person,” said Lendoiro.
