Marco van Basten’s agent Perry van Overeem has dismissed speculation linking his client with the Milan job.
Current Rossoneri coach Leonardo has already come under intense pressure despite having only taken over from Carlo Ancelotti in the summer.
Milan find themselves 11th in Serie A with just two wins from their six games, while their 1-0 home defeat to FC Zurich in the UEFA Champions League in midweek further undermined Leonardo’s position.
“I have also read those rumours regarding Marco in the press,” Van Overeem said.
“But they are only rumours. There has been no official contact with Milan or with any other clubs for that matter.
“Marco is leaving all the doors open but has not made a decision regarding his future.”
Meanwhile Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stated that there will be no managerial changes this season.
“We will continue with this staff and with these players at least until the end of the season,” he told Milan TV.
“I’ve spoken also with the president Silvio Berlusconi. We are only at the beginning of the league and Champions League and everything is still possible and I’m convinced with this group we can achieve all the targets.”
