Mark van Bommel’s agent has played down reports linking the midfielder with a move to Milan.
The Dutchman’s future at Bayern Munich has been the subject of intense speculation over the past few weeks with his current contract set to expire at the end of the season.
Milan are thought to be interested in signing him, while Tottenham have also been linked with a January bid.
Van Bommel’s representative Mino Raiola admits he is travelling to Italy over the next few days but insists that it is not for talks over a possible switch.
“It’s true that this week I will be in Milan but to discuss other matters,” Raiola told calciomercato.it.
“I have had no contact with Milan. I have not yet spoken to Van Bommel either and it’s too early to discuss an eventual contract renewal.
“These are matters we will discuss later on in the season.”
