English Premiership side Fulham look set to lock horns with FIFA once again – this time over Edwin Van der Sar’s transfer from Juventus.

The Serie A title chasers claim they are still yet to receive the final £2m installment of the £7m Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed offered for the Dutch goalkeeper in 2001.

The London side were involved in a similar dispute over the transfer of French striker Steve Marlet from Lyon which was eventually resolved when FIFA intervened and forced them to pay the outstanding £3,2m.

FIFA seem certain to become involved again with an appeal hearing is to be held in London on February 29. If they do not receive the money soon Juventus are threatening to recall Van der Sar to Turin.
