Arsenal have reportedly agreed a new deal with striker Robin van Persie.
The Dutch forward has been in impressive form this season, scoring eight goals in his last ten games.
According to reports emanating in Holland van Persie has reached agreement on a new improved deal that will keep him at the club until 2011.
“I am extremely pleased with my life over here,” van Persie told Algemeen Dagblad.
“Arsenal is a formidable club.
“We have found the ideal house and with my new contract I don’t have to worry about other things than football.
“That is exactly what I want, to focus only on training and playing matches to become an even better player.”
