Internazionale striker Christian Vieri has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United, claiming he is happy to stay with the Nerazzurri.

Vieri with a move to Manchester United and it has been suggested United would make a move for the Italian international should they fail to sign Louis Saha from Fulham.

However, the much-travelled striiker is staying with INter for the time being.

“It’s a part of the system,’ he said when asked about the speculation.

‘One day I’m here and another one I leave.

“My intention is to stay here, I feel good. Let’s see at the end of the year.”

Vieri scored his 100th goal in Inter’s 3-1 win over Lecce on Tuesday.

“I was really keen on this aim. I have to thank my team-mates because without them I wouldn’t have ever achieved it,” Vieri said of his 100th goal.

“The season is still long and everyone can be beaten. Now we must continue on our way and concentrate.”
