Germany coach Rudi Voller has resisted the calls to bring back striker Freddi Bobic into the national side, despite the Hannover front man being in prolific form this season.
Bobic, who has scored eight goals in eight games for Hannover to date, had been tipped for a recall, for the friendly international against the Netherlands next Wednesday in Gelsenkirchen, bbut wa overlooked by Voller.
There are recalls for Tottenham’s Christian Ziege,ÿ Borussia Dortmund midfield player Lars Ricken and Frank Baumann of Werder Bremen, although Christoph Metzelder misses out through injury.
