Werder Bremen continued their dominance of the Bundesliga with a 2-0 win away to Wolfsburg.

Goals from Klasnic and Micoud have now given Werder an eleven-point lead over second-placed Bayern Munich.

Bayern could only draw against Hertha Berlin after Makaay’s early strike was cancelled out by a Marcelinho penalty.

The draw leaves leaves Hertha in the bottom three, two points behind Frankfurt who lost to Dortmund 2-0 with goals from Ewerthon and Koller. Dortmund’s win still leaves them nine points adrift of third-placed Stuttgart in the race for Champions League places.

Bayern Leverkusen won a hard fought match against Hansa Rostock 2-0.

Eight players were booked with Berbatov and Babic scoring for Bayer to kept them in fourth place, five points behind Stuttgart.
