Willian has developed into something of a free-kick expert this season, but the Chelsea midfielder was not too proud to take some advice on the subject from Brazilian legend Zico.
The Brazilian’s free-kicks have been one of Chelsea’s most potent attacking weapons this season, either scoring directly from free kicks or creating chances for his team-mates with his whipped in delivery.
Compatriot Zico, who visited Chelsea’s training base in Cobham on Monday, was happy to pass on his experience to the younger man.
In a video posted by the club, Zico could be seen giving tips to Willian.
Zico, as you can see from the following video, was something of a free-kick specialist.
Willian has developed a knack for scoring from set-pieces, but he currently lacks the full variety of free-kicks that could be found in Zico’s best work.
