Wolves have signed midfielder Adlene Guedioura on loan from Charleroi for the rest of the season.

Guedioura’s arrival from the Belgian club follows that of team-mate Geoffrey Mujangi Bia who joined last week.

McCarthy told the club’s official website: “Adlene is an all-round midfield player who is very mobile and can get up and down the pitch.

“Technically he is also very good and has the physical characteristics to be able to cope with the Premier League.

“He’s another player who has been scouted abroad by Taff (Ian Evans) and I’m delighted we’ve been able to bring him in.”

Guedioura could make his debut in the home clash with Liverpool on Tuesday night, provided his international clearance comes through in time.

“We are very pleased to have made Adlene our second signing of the transfer window,” added chief executive Jez Moxey.

“He is a midfielder who has a very good engine and is one with all the capabilities to thrive in the English game.”
