Barcelona defender Gianluca Zambrotta has dismissed reports claiming he is planning a move to Milan.
Former Juventus full-back Zambrotta revealed earlier this week that he is a fan of Milan, but his words were interpreted back in Italy as a ‘come and get me’ plea.
“I never said that I wanted to leave Barcelona in order to play for Milan,” Zambrotta told the Italian media.
“I only answered a question, stating that I have always liked the San Siro outfit, which is true.
“However, stating that I will join them is science fiction. No one has offered me the chance of an Italian return.
“I am not moving until the end of my current agreement.
“I want to win all I can here and I will not leave. It wouldn’t be fair to do so after only one season.”
