Italian forward Gianfranco Zola may continue playing for another season at least as he sets his sights on a return to Serie A with Cagliari.
Cagliari are currently in sixth spot in Serie B but Zola has not given up hope of ggracing the top flight again.
“I am very happy to be playing for Cagliari,” Zola told the Telegraph.
“It’s a great club. We might even make it back to Serie A next season.
“They are promoting five sides this year from Serie B. We are sixth at the moment.”
“I’m playing well and still in good shape. I’ll judge it from year to year. I love playing and while I can contribute, why shouldn’t I?
“I’m not afraid of anything any more.”
