Arsenal are in negotiations with Feyernoord to sign Dutch starlet, Robin van Persie.
The Gunners’ initial offer for the 20-year-old was rejected and now Feyernoord are anticipating a follow-up bid from the Premiership leaders.
Feyernoord spokesman Fred Blankemeijer said: “We’ve rejected a first bid and we’re waiting for Arsenal to come back to us.
“We’re waiting for written confirmation of a second bid from them.”
Van Persie has scored five goals this season and it seems he is eager to get away before the transfer window closes on 31 January.
