Arsenal captain William Gallas is expected to be out of action for three weeks after suffering a groin injury at Blackburn.
The defender limped off midway through the first half of Sunday’s Premier League encounter a Ewood Park and he is expected to miss Arsenal’s next three matches including the Champions League qualifer against Sparta Prague.
“He has done his groin, I knew it straight away,” manager Arsene Wenger said on the club’s official website.
“He will be out for three weeks.”
