Colombian veteran Faustino Asprilla thinks he has found himself a new club at last.
Asprilla is in Santiago where he is poised to sign for Universidad de Chile.
Most recently Asprilla was linked with the lower division English club Darlington but a pay-as-you-play deal fell through. Asprilla, a World Cup star for Colombia in the United States in 1994 but was sent home from the finals in France in 1998 after squabbling with coach Hernan Gomez.
His club career includes stints at Atletico Nacional Medellin (Colombia), Parma (Italy), Newcastle (England), River Plate (Argentina) and Corinthians (Brazil).
