PSV Eindhoven have confirmed they have agreed a deal with Barcelona for the sale of Ibrahim Afellay.
Afellay confirmed last month he would not be signing a new contract with PSV when his current deal expires at the end of the season.
Barcelona have agreed an undisclosed fee with PSV for the 24-year-old to arrive at Camp Nou in January with only personal terms to be finalised.
“That [agreeing personal terms] is definitely going to take some time,” Afellay’s agent, Rob Jansen, told Sports Promotion’s official website.
“There is certainly no final agreement. When the time comes we will notify the media and the fans through our website.”
