Barcelona are looking to sign Liverpool’s Czech striker Milan Baros, his agent Pavel Paska has confirmed.
“I can only say one thing: Barcelona truly is interested in Milan. But at this point, I have nothing else to say,” Paska told Czech news wire CTK.
Reports claimed earlier today that Baros had agreed a four-year deal with the Catalan club.
Primera Liga runners-up Barcelona have offered between 10 and 12 million euros to Liverpool for the 22-year-old.
Earlier this month Baros claimed that Real Madrid had been in contact.
“Real Madrid have made a concrete offer but it is still a question of discussions,” Baros told Czech TV.
“It is only an offer. I still have a contract with Liverpool and go back there on July 19.”
Baros joined Liverpool from Banik Ostrava in 2002 for £3.2m.
Baros scored five goals for the Czech Republic in Euro 2004.
