Roma’s Aregentine striker Gabriel Batistuta could be on his way out of the club sooner than expected.

It was widely believed that 33-year-old Batistuta would leave the club at the end of the season, when his contract expires.

However, with star striker Herman Creeps sidelined with injury for the next few months, Inter are anxious to secure the services of a proven goal scorer, and Batistuta fits the bill.

It is believed talks between the two clubs and representatives of the player about a proposed six-month deal, are already underway.
