Gabriel Batistuta is considering offers to wind down his career back in Japan in the J.League.
Batistuta, 33, joined Roma in the summer of 2000 on a three-year deal which expires in June. He has also been linked with a possible move to the English Premiership.
The player’s advisers, however, are thought to consider the J.League a healthier destination for Batistuta who has been troubled by an increasing number of minor injuries over the past two years.
Batistuta said: “Of course I would happy to play inJapan. For one thing, I don’t think the fans there saw the best of me in the World Cup finals.”
