Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed ‘progress’ has been made in the club’s bid to make David Beckham a permanent signing.
The England international is currently on loan to the Serie A giants from MLS outfit LA Galaxy, but is due to return early next month.
Beckham has made a big impression during his brief spell in Serie A, convincing the club to seek to offer him a permanent deal.
Although MLS’ deadline set to finalise Beckham’s future has elapsed, Galliani remains confident a resolution can be reached.
“We have made good progress within the last few hours,” Galliani told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
