Mark Viduka has been ruled out of Middlesbrough’s Uefa Cup semi-final first leg with Steaua Bucharest.
Viduka has been in goood form recently with seven goals in his last 11 games – but he has not travelled to Bucharest for Thursday’s tie.
In the absence of Viduka Middlesbrough coach Steve McClaren’s is expected to recall leading scorer Yakubu Aiyegbeni to partner Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink up front.
