Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon has rejected the possibility of joining Chelsea in January by insisting he will remain in Turin until the summer.

The World Cup winner stayed at Juve in the summer despite the club’s relegation to Serie B for their part in the match-fixing scandal.

The injury to Chelsea’s Petr Cech led to speculation that the keeper could be prised away when the transfer window opens in January.

However, Buffon, who has a cntract with Juve until 2010, seems determined to spend the season with Turin club.

“Before June I won’t move. Then, we will evaluate everything,” Buffon told Rai tv.
