The Italian press has reported that Roma manager Fabio Capello could be set to leave the Rome club at the end of the season.

Liverpool, Barcelona and Bayern Munich have all been linked with Capello, whose contract with Roma expires in 2005.

Both Liverpool and Barcelona have under-achieved this season and are keen to change their fortunes and possibly their coach.

With Barcelona manager Radomir Antic only contracted to the end of the season, they are expected to search for a replacement in the summer with Capello one of the favorites to take over.

The 2001 Serie A champions, Roma, have also been having a poor season, looking likely to go out of the Champions League in the second group stage and currently lying in tenth place in SerieA.
