After nine months of action we’re down to the last round of Premier League matches this Sunday.
The Football Association has cleared Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas of two charges of improper conduct.
The Arsenal skipper was charged regarding his conduct following the final whistle of the Gunners’ 2-1 FA Cup quarter-final win over Hull City on 17th March.
The Spain international, who was not part of the match-day squad, was charged after an allegation of spitting at Tigers assistant manager Brian Horton.
Arsenal maintained that Fabregas was innocent and now the FA, at a Regulatory Commission hearing, has confirmed the charges “were found not proved”.
Hull boss Phil Brown was also charged by the FA following his outburst at referee Mike Riley, and has requested a personal hearing into that matter.
