Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon and manager Jose Mourinho have confirmed that they have no intention of selling in-demand winger Arjen Robben.

Real president Ramon Calderon promised to take Robben, 22, to the Bernabeu as part of his election campaign, but Chelsea will resist any moves for the Dutchman.

“There has been no formal approach and if there was it would be completely rebuffed,” said Kenyon.

Manager Mourinho added: “Arjen Robben is a player we want to keep at the club, 100% for sure.”

Chelsea have asked Fifa to investigate an alleged illegal approach from Real for Robben.

“Arjen has said he’s staying at Chelsea and Chelsea’s position has been made very clear,” said Kenyon.

“There’s a process in place and we will follow that process.”
