Copa America Cup draw made

The draw for this year’s Copa America competition has been made.

The finals to be played in Peru, start on July 6 and continue to the final on the 25th.

The hosts Peru were given a relatively easy draw in Group A, with Copa America holders Colombia, Venezuela and Bolivia. World Cup holders Brazil will face Paraguay, Costa Rica and Chile in Group C, while longstanding rivals Argentina and Uruguay are joined in Group B by Mexico and Ecuador.

The top two teams from each first round group plus the two best third placed sides will qualify for the quarter final knockout stages.
