New Fulham signing, Olivier Dacourt, is disappointed he was not given a chance to play at Inter by Jose Mourinho.

Dacourt has joined Fulham on loan until the end of the season after making just one appearance for Inter since Mourinho took control last summer.

“I worked really hard during training and Mourinho’s training methods are excellent,” Dacourt told the Corriere dello Sport.

“It’s a shame he never gave me a chance to play, even though I was told I would get one.

“I always gave 100 per cent, but I was never taken into consideration for the first team.

“I never argued with Mourinho, but evidently we had different ideas. That’s the way things go.

“I would probably have had more chances under Roberto Mancini because he knew me very well.

“It’s hard to leave Inter because I loved it there and I want to thank the Moratti family for the two great seasons when I won Scudetti.”
