Roma midfielder Emerson has admitted holding transfer talks with Chelsea, Juventus and Inter but says he will not decide on his future until the end of the season.

Emerson also revealed that that he could yet stay at Roma.

“Many clubs want me but I can’t decide on my own when I have a contract until 2005,” the Brazilian told Italian media.

“There have been contacts with other clubs – Juve, Inter and Chelsea. It was the club who gave me permission to talk to them.”

“Whatever I do I will speak to Roma first because I want to do things the right way. One eventuality is that I will stay and extend my contract.

“I need to know the possibilities that Roma have. When I receive an offer I will evaluate it even if they offer me the same money that I receive at the moment.”
