The English FA have charged by UEFA’s disciplinary committee over the behaviour of their suppporters during the recent Euro 2004 qualifier in Slovakia.

The FA will face the charges on November 21 and could be looking at a hefty fine if found guilty.

Slovakia have also been charged, after home crowd chanted racial abuse at England pair Emile Heskey and Ashley Cole. The Slovakian FA could face an even harsher punishment, after they failed to take any action against the culprits.

The English FA made a number of complaints to UEFA after the game, and as well as the racist abuse, they were reportedly unhappy with the way the Slovakian police dealt with English supporters.
