Everton have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign Steven Pienaar on a three-year contract.
The South African has agreed a three-year deal that will keep him at the club until July 2011.
Everton will pay a sum of £2,050,000 to Borussia Dortmund for the midfielder.
Pienaar originally joined the Toffees on loan in July 2007 on a season-long loan deal.
Piennar has made 35 appearances for Everton this season and scored two goals.
Speaking earlier this month, Everton manager David Moyes said: “Steven has done well for us. He is one of the reasons our football has improved.
“He is a really good football player.”
