Porto defender Paulo Ferreira has confirmed he is to become Jose Mourinho’s first signing at Chelsea.
The right-back, 25, will move to Stamford Bridge in a deal worth £13.5m.
“It is a lot of money for a defender, there is no doubt about that,” Ferreira told Portuguese newspaper 24Horas.
“Of course I am extremely satisfied.
“Only those who watch me play and who know me can say £13.5m is justified.”
