FIFA’s executive committee has lifted a suspension of Nigeria following the dismissal of a lawsuit against the the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
The world governing body suspended Nigeria on October 4 because of “government interference.”
The suit by Nigeria’s national players’ organization sought to annul recent federation elections.
FIFA lifted the ban after receiving confirmation that the court actions against elected members of the NFF had ceased and that they could now work without hindrance.
