Cagliari’s pre-season friendly against Bastia was abandoned after 75 minutes after fighting broke out between rival players.
The Sardinian outfit were leading 3-0 against their opponents from the neighbouring island of Corsica when the referee brought proceedings to a premature halt.
The Italian side confirmed the fixture had been called off in a statement on their official website.
